Welcome to the Carmarthen Bay Film Festival Community Group
Our intention is to run an event that will be about encouraging Welsh independent film making and screenplay writing both in Welsh and English. Not only within Wales but also internationally through working with Welsh expat film makers all over the world. And film makers and writers here in the UK.
We also propose to use the festival to celebrate the television, film and writing talents that Llanelli, Carmarthenshire and Wales have produced over the years, for example Sian Phillips,Sharon Morgan, Gareth Hughes, Eleanor Daniels, Rachel Roberts, Ron Cass, Pam Ferris, and the list goes on!
The festival board has now drawn up a constitution and has decided to operate the festival as a non profit community group. (The constitution is available on request.)
The festival will be not only an international event one but a community based as well.
